Our Story
We are the Serrano family, raising cattle over three dusty miles up a washboard road in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Neighbors call it Rough Roads Ranch—where gate hinges squeak, kids feed cattle before school, and the only bars we count are on the branding iron, not the cell phone.
“R Three” means Rough Roads Ranch. Each steer starts on native grass, finishes on grain for rich marbling, and never sees a feedlot or growth hormones. We partner with local processors so everything is California grown and processed. Buying a half or whole beef from us puts honest ranch flavor in your freezer and keeps small-town agriculture alive.
